The true story was many people did not want a mod on RG forum. Mia almost autoproclamed Mod, so someone, i don't remember who decided to include my name in the poll. So i played the game. Finally i won the poll, even when we counted only gasquetaires votes, and we finally decided, with Mia, that no mod was needed.

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

How about we all become mods of the JRL thread so we all can have big avvies?

Except Ex Lion Tamer because he already has one.

Perfect. If Arsen helped us in the design of management plans here, we could benefit the most from his mathematical nous.

Nathii, why does it matter how it looks as long as it works well?

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

I used to have Nathii avvies on scandal purposes As small avvies they don't look well at all.

But I like a guitar kitty, yeah. I think it helps me to get away with most of the trolling

Ah, I guess I just didn't want to let the reality get in the way of a good story. He'll beat him next time then.

Exactly, was a good result for him. I'm sure he learnt many things for their next match. Maybe at Roland Garros.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

I think i'll ask mods if i can become JR thread mod. I hope you people will vote for when i create a poll.

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

Despite being singles specialist, Jean Rene is also doubles master. He has got wins over Mark Knowles (with Patience in 2000), Ratiwatana brothers (with Muller in 2006), Dlouhy and Vizner (with Haehnel in 2006), Coetzee (with Couillard in 2008).

Mardy Fish!

Brian Baker - Steve Johnson - Lleyton Hewitt - Carlos Berlocq - Tommy Haas - Ivo Karlovic - Richard Gasquet - Kevin Anderson - David Ferrer - Michael Russell - Fabio Fognini - Dustin Brown - Somdev Devvarman

Some interesting H2H:
Albret Portas on clay: 2/1
Mickael LLodra 4/0
Stephan Koubek 2/0
PHM 2/0
Mannarino 2/0 (both in 2009)

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

Lisnard is one stylish individual, the backhand is almost Gaudio like.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
