Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

Was he sick again? He pulled out of the next tournament, didn't he? I've lost his trail.

Anyway, here's his 1st round draw in Tarragona:
Jean-René Lisnard MON vs. Flavio Cipolla ITA
Flavio can't win a match to save his life lately, it should be a cracker of a match.

Edit: 1-6 0-6. He's won 1 game in his last 2 tournaments.

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

JRL needed to spend 7 years in Tibet to regroup and then enjoyed a footwalk to Astana in the country where Renaud's gf lives...

Plot thickens.

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

Seb de Chaunac gives some news of JR in his blog for Tennis Mag, his hip has been hurting since September and that's why he couldn't play lately (they play for the same team in the French Championships, but JR couldn't play at all). So it has nothing to do with his meningitis anymore, apparently.

He was there to cheer on his teammates, though, here's a pic with Guez:

i may have to hope so.

despite its beautiful start bit, his thread reached the moribund stage… that being symptomatic at earlier time points, chalk it up to a hollow defeat…

Montecarlo is so boring without JRL.

Mardy Fish!

Brian Baker - Steve Johnson - Lleyton Hewitt - Carlos Berlocq - Tommy Haas - Ivo Karlovic - Richard Gasquet - Kevin Anderson - David Ferrer - Michael Russell - Fabio Fognini - Dustin Brown - Somdev Devvarman

The thread is dead because JRL is better than Nalbandian in disappearing

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

where the hell is JR ?

He hasn't played a single match this season, dropped to #950 and lost almost all his ranking points...

When he is willing to come back to prepare for winning Roland Garros ?

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

Apparently JR was ready to play in Davis Cup but he didn't... ( see picture in his photo gallery)

Hip surgery needs a long recovery. Maybe he wants to be completely ready to use his protected ranking.

Re: Magic (fabulous, pure talent...) JRL - Jean René Lisnard thread

JR will be back in 2011. He has planned to play Australian open qualies with his protected ranking.

http://www.lunion.presse.fr/article/...oach-couillard
