Re: Irish Tennis

niland is in serious danger of missing cut for Oz Open qualies now.

Needs a title this week in France with 109 points coming off next month.

it would be horrible to miss out after what he achieved in qualies last year

Re: Irish Tennis

Into the quarters after a surprisingly hard fought 4-6 6-3 6-1 win over Jean Andersen and then a straightforward 6/4 6/4 win over Rudy Coco. In the quarters he will play 5th seed Romain Jouan. Jouan lost to Coco last week so the formline stacks up well for Niland.

Are you still going to the Aus Open Henry?

Re: Irish Tennis

yeah man. Flying into Sydney on the 10th of January, few days there then off to melbourne for 10 days or so.

doesn't look like Niland will be joining me there at this rate unless he can produce an inspired performance in Salzburg and defend most of his points there...

Should be good. I am hopıng to make it there this year as well but at the moment it looks like I will have to be content with just going to Brisbane and Sydney.
