Lightbulb Re: World Group 2010 quarterfinal: Spain at France (July 9-11, 2010)

I think the dominations are:

SPAIN
  • Starters: Nadal, Verdasco, Ferrer, Ferrero
  • Substitutes: Almagro, Robredo, Lopez, Montanes, Garcia-Lopez, Gimeno-Traver, Granollers, Navarro, Ventura, Riba, Ramirez Hidalgo, Hernandez, Martin, Andujar, Moya, Vicente

FRANCE
  • Starters: Tsonga, Monfils, Simon, Benneteau
  • Substitutes: Gasquet, Chardy, Llodra, Robert, Serra, Clement, Gicquel, Mahut, Ascione, Ouanna, Roger-Vasselin, De Chaunac, Patience, Devilder, Dupuis, Grosjean, Saulnier, Haehnel

What do you think?

Re: World Group 2010 quarterfinal: Spain at France (July 9-11, 2010)

Simon
He hasn´t won a match so far this year and is injured now (or was?) and he should play DC

I think France will play with the same team as against Germany (Tsonga, Monfils, Benneteau, Llodra) and I think Almagro will play instead of Ferrero because Almagro is better on HC than Ferrero.

Federer |Söderling |most of the Germans

I also like: Wawrinka | Tsonga | Dimitrov | Isner | Gulbis |

Warm regards: 6-3 6-0 / 6-3 6-4

Spain will probably play with Nadal and Verdasco as singles players, Robredo or Verdasco and F. Lopez for doubles

Substitutes: Almagro and Ferrer, maybe Granollers for doubles

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Re: World Group 2010 quarterfinal: Spain at France (July 9-11, 2010)

I don't see Ferrero playing on Indoor. I would bet for Nadal-Verdasco for singles, Verdasco/F.Lopez on doubles and Ferrer as 4th option.

As for France, the same as against Germany would be the logical. Gasquet is the 5th option.

Tsonga out of France v Spain tie
French No. 1 Jo-Wilfred Tsonga has pulled out of his country’s quarterfinal tie against defending champions Spain after injuring his left knee. The damaged knee, which got progressively worse during Tsonga’s journey to the Wimbledon quarterfinals, will need at least seven days of rest.

Richard Gasquet, who was nominated as a fifth member of the squad, will also miss the crucial tie because of a back injury

A replacement for Tsonga, who will join Gael Monfils, Michael Llodra and Julien Benneteau on the French team, will be announced by the Federation Francaise de Tennis on Saturday 3 July.
so, Tsonga and Gasquet are OUT. Who will join the team now?
Chardy? Mathieu? Simon?
