Don´t worry guys, the most important is he being happy as he is and due to the circunstances it wasn´t a bad loss.

I'm quite content with this draw. Let the rollercoaster commence.

Re: soderling

Not bad draw. Granollers and Zverev could take a set from him but the B+ game shoudl win them. Querrey would be a tough draw like Ferrer at French but is winnable.

Re: soderling

I asked Söderling how he should win against Federer in an eventual quarterfinal, he just answered

Nobody beats me 12 times in a row

Re: soderling

Perhaps I am a little biased, but doesn't Robin deserve a bit better than court 11????

Court 11 - 11:00 Start
Women's Singles - 1st Round
Patricia Mayr(AUT) vs. Agnieszka Radwanska(POL)[12]

Men's Singles - 1st Round
Robin Soderling(SWE)[12] vs. Albert Montanes(ESP)

Grigor Dimitrov | Jarkko Nieminen | Stan Wawrinka
Simon Aspelin | Jonas Bjorkman | Thomas Enqvist | Thomas Johansson | Magnus Norman | Robin Soderling

Re: soderling

Court 11 is in the same category as 4 and 7, slightly smaller than Grandstand. I wouldn't let that bother me.

On the other hand, Robin is apparently still a bit unsettled about his elbow. He's not in any real pain, but he keeps thinking about it, worrying. I hope his forehand won't be as wobbly as it was against Hewitt, but you never know. Montanes shouldn't cause any real problems, but he's still one of those guys that can trouble Robin on a bad day. It might be windy, etc... I'll be delighted with every win he can get.

There's no need to be sorry.

Eurosport 2 is showing Radwanska - Mayr right now on Court 11, so yes, I guess there's a chance. Robin is up as soon as they are done, but Federer enters Arthur Ashe at about the same time.
