Re: Best nickname for Federer?

Fred & Fedr for affection. GOATerer for respect. Featherer, Jesuserer when he's good, Fedmug & Muger when he's bad. Arroger (beats Arroganterer any day) when his lovely self-comments appear again. We also call him Fedor (Fёdor, Fyodor) for fun in Russian.

Dynasty of the Open era kings:

Connors --> Borg --> McEnroe --> Lendl -> Sampras -> Federer --> Djokovic --> ?

Humble Nadal's respect for legends:
"Personally, to watch a Pete Sampras versus Goran Ivanisevic match,
or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable, It's not really tennis."

Re: Best nickname for Federer?

Other. I always call him Rogerina/Federina when I talk about him. Lovingly of course, I so admire the strength/grit/power hidden behind that grace/beauty.

"The point is that to root for Federer is to root for a Platonic ideal. It is like rooting for truth. (...) Detractors who said, “Don’t you get tired of him winning all the time?” were missing the point. Every victory was a validation. No one gets bored by the sun coming up in the morning."
