Nick Kyrgios splashes $180k on a flashy car after his 1st round exit in Wimbledon

Nick Kyrgios splurges on $180k car after Wimbledon exit

.................Kyrgios first spotted the $180,000 Dodge Challenger Hellcat outside a hotel while overseas in Miami, and it was love at first sight.

“I was instantly attracted to it,” he told 9NEWS on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

Again, what I have said in previous thread about Ken Rosewell was right about this generation being spoiled too much

Though he is injured, really he shouldn't be 'attracted' to it but focus on his tennis more or otherwise I am afraid he will be the next "Tomic". There was a famous saying "bitter first, sweetness later"

He just sold his BMW not so long ago in Down Under. I wonder when he sells again, will he advertise on his FB to attract sellers, lol

How is a $180k car newsworthy for a sportsman worth millions?

A Hellcat is $180k in Australia? You can get them for $50k USD.

Well, if he's got the money...

He's good for a couple of intense matches against top-tier player, maybe even one or two shock upsets. But he's not Top 10 material and might never be. Much less Grand Slam champion material.

Still holding out hope for Zverev and Thiem.

meh it is his own money, he is entitled to spend it. And athletes are not athletes 100% of the time. I'm sure we've all been down the depression route as well, buying to ease our anxieties. Can't do much about 'entitlement', we should tell our pollies to work harder and reject payrises and allowances, but what do they care as long as they get the office?

Of all the antics Nick Kyrgios does, it's this one you decide to use? One which is pretty normal for a rich athlete

Faves: Monfils , Kei, Dreddy
Cool: Nishioka, D. King, Wawrinka, Mischa Z
Retired: Santoro, F. Gonzalez, Blake
Respect: Everyone Else

if someone could ever find a way to focus him for an extended period of time and if he could stay healthy he'd win grand slams for sure. many of them. much bigger potential than zverev and thiem. a shame the work ethic and fitness arent there.

Nick is suddenly back to winning again maybe he doesn't want to run out of money

I have a, shall we say, morbid personality.
