Maybe the pregnancy rumors had something to them after all. Would explain awful play lately possibly.

Yea media reported that, but then again media were reporting about their wedding couple of times in the past, so I'm not buying much into it. Besides, being engaged is vague enough in itself, some people go engaged for years.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

There's already a thread in the Djokovic board (moved there from GM) - Djokovic engaged to Jelena Ristic

People acting like getting engaged/married is such a massive distraction???? Just lol... Perhaps when you're a normal working class person and have NO time at all to prepare/book/fund the wedding, then yes, it may be a big distraction. But for a pro Tennis player who has off season? Not so much.

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

It's not just the wedding itself, but also those things that usually comes along after getting married. And the off season in tennis isn't as long as they would like.

Real story is the link to the side of the article about the oral sex school in Russia: http://inserbia.info/news/2013/09/ru...t-of-oral-sex/

Wedding, marriage is not so much a big distraction, I mean Andre played his best after he married Steffi.

But if Ristic is pregnant, then the 5 year count down for Nole's career has begun.

It is not so much marriage as much as the child coming that really makes the player distracted, lose sleep, etc.

Ristic seems like a good woman, so unless she is really pregnant, then marriage ought not to distract Nole's tennis game so much.

Yeah Pregnancy would be a lot trouble than just getting married. But saying that Fed got Married and had kids and is doing perfectly fine. Granted he's been off form this year, but he's not done shockingly bad considering he is still top 10;

He was supposed to propose to Xisca in September 2009 in Bangkok, but he had to pull out with injury.

I am sure Rafa's mom and sister and GF are all looking at their watches now wondering when Rafa will propose to Xisca now that Djokovic has tied the knot.
