Knighthood is too early for Muzza and Jess Ennis but it has to be there somewhere down the line. If Murray beefs up his slam tally he is a shoe in.
Sir Andrew Murray. Something completely unique in Tennis
Something Federer and Djokovic will never have.
As for Nadal, no doubt he'll get the Spanish equivalent though, which is way cooler than a simple knighthood, similar to the one given to Del Bosque.
THE MOST ILLUSTRIOUS, THE MARQUIS OF VICENTE DEL BOSQUE.
THE MOST ILLUSTRIOUS,THE MARQUIS OF Rafael Nadal.
Nothing, nothing tops that title. I have tears in my eyes just thinking about that. And unlike a knighthood, it's actually a hereditary noble title and it honours a lifetime accomplishment. And tennis wise Nadal has done enough to deserve it even if he were to call it a day today. (he could perhaps throw in a Nadal tennis academy but he has already done enough).
