His PR company, B1PR, is the same as Nadal and Azarenka. They tweeted that Del Piero would be there....

Another unlikely fan - Russell Crowe - tweeted support for Andy!

Really?

I wish I knew who he was. I could give him some pointers in not being annoying.

He knows Nadal personally? At least that's the impression "our friend" gives

Re: Unlikeliest Famous Tennis Fans?

Comedian Noel Fielding is a huge tennis fan who attends Wimbledon every year! He writes and acts in The Mighty Boosh and Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy. (also team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks) He often makes tennis references in his work. In Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy the characters play tennis, have settled a debate using hawk-eye, and Noel admitted that he loosely based the "tutting mountain" on Andy Murray! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPkP_HIFmBk

Also, actor Tom Hiddleston is a known tennis nerd! He goes to many tennis events and has talked about his tennis love in interviews! (love Ernests Gulbis on the TV)

Here is another picture of Tom from the WTF last year with actor, Colin Morgan. (Colin Morgan's Merlin co-star Bradley James also seen at tennis events)

THE TRAVELING FANGIRL

Team Gulbis & Latvian tennis
Tennis rackets & Ernests Gulbis go together like Redshirts & Star Trek. #expendable

Mike Tyson met Martina Navratilova at his house, they even hit some balls together on his court. Placido Domingo is a big tennis fan. Philip Anselmo of Pantera used to play as a kid, even won a tournament. Supermodel Heidi Albertsen likes to play, she is a big Federer fan. So is Cheryl Tiegs.

Oksana Baiul is also a big tennis fan, she loves to go to the US Open and watch the matches, but her tennis playing skills are minimal )

Re: Unlikeliest Famous Tennis Fans?

I hear a lot of these 'celebrities' are "huge" tennis fans. I don't believe this at all, none of these people would be able to tell you who Viktor Troicki is.

DiCaprio goes to tennis matches a lot of times (even though he always looks quite bored)
