Sampras impressed with Djokovic

In season 4, episode 19 of the ATP World Tour Uncovered presented by Rio, 14-time Grand Slam champion Pete Sampras reveals to Justin Gimelstob the advice he gave Novak last July when the Serbian became world no.1.
Former ATP world no.1 speaks about Novak’s mental strength and admires him for being an “incredible competitor”.
“Novak’s always had a big game, big serve… I feel like mentally he was a bit fragile, and now he’s a rock.”
“When you’re 24, these next four, five years, until 28, 29, this is your prime. He’s too good, he’s a good mover, mentally he’s figured it out, he’s got the whole package”.

Novak Djokovic nº1!

Big serve? Well, i think he has a good serve but i won't call it big. Everything else is true and we all know that i guess. He also said last year that he is the best player he ever seen when it comes to turning defense to offense. I fully agree with that.

I kinda feel that Sampras always liked him more than Fed and Rafa. Just a feeling.

STFU. Pete knows much more about tennis than a MTF troll like you. Nole's serve was certainly big in 2007/2008 at least. Can't say the same thing about the lefty moonballer who never had a big serve.

Re: Sampras impressed with Djokovic

Sampras said it was easier for him as he was not an extrovertish personality. All he wanted to get better and he pretty much closed himself out in his training base in Florida.

Now thats a good approach. Wonder which approach will Novak take.

But Frankly speaking what were all Sampras's competitors doing? How could they allow a Guy to be Year End Number 1 for six years in a Row. It was a messed up Era to be honest.

absolutely true

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

Re: Sampras impressed with Djokovic

lol

Sampras never talk about Nadal

arrogant cheater

sucks nadal

Nadal "Sampras, Ivanisevic match. or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis. it is a few swings of the racquet. For me in the past it was just serve. serve". arrogance.

clay excluded. successive win 0. If grass and a hard are fast. Like Sampras era. Nadal is able to win only with clay. power of defense and muscles. boring ugly. All the surface is slow now.

fake time-out. cheat. gamesmanship. too noisy annoying always. excuse. boycotts threatened. always dissatisfaction cry complaints. dissatisfaction to schedule. selfish two-year ranking. bump to player. ugly protest. always exaggerated appeal of self condition. etc. overrated by fanatic arrogant blind fan

Its true Nadal is a cheat
But he's not arrogant
He's a nice cheat

God is Love. To know Love is to know God. So ask yourself if you hold any hate for another in your heart how can you have room for Love, room for God
