Although this is kind of old now... I can still watch it forever!

The A++ Tier: Soderling | Raonic | Hewitt | Dolgopolov | Djokovic | Gasquet | Mahut
The A+ Tier: Murray | Kohlschreiber | Nishikori | Tsonga | Goffin | Berdych | Baghdatis | Karlovic | Baker
The A Tier: Del Potro | Youzhny | Ferrer | Tursunov | Malisse | Saville

Re: Incredible Ball Boy Catch - Aussie Open

highlight of the match tbh

ergo, it aint surprising that youtube video has more views than any point of the actual match taking place. i propose that for the next GS fedal match the ITF should just skip the tennis part and hire that kid and have him catching fast balls. would give better ratings...

:-(

Sad but true! :-(

But was that original catch *that* special? Good reflexes sure, but I'd expect anybody playing cricket that age to catch that.

Let me clarify, that ball was a good height, not hit too hard. Very catch-able.

Since it is a kid who took the catch we are just being kind . Not the greatest of catches but still decent. India are struggling but at least they know how to play spin unlike England who are just embarrassing the whole nation. Shocking performances .

The very first symptoms of the tennis season reaching a lull for the gloryhunters are evident with this thread.

Lol, like that means anything. For example, Federer's Gillette ad has far more views on YT than any of the Fed's actual matches.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Re: Incredible Ball Boy Catch - Aussie Open

god

Nadal "Sampras, Ivanisevic match. or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis. it is a few swings of the racquet. For me in the past it was just serve. serve". arrogance.

clay excluded. successive win 0. If grass and a hard are fast. Like Sampras era. Nadal is able to win only with clay. power of defense and muscles. boring ugly. All the surface is slow now.

fake time-out. cheat. gamesmanship. too noisy annoying always. excuse. boycotts threatened. always dissatisfaction cry complaints. dissatisfaction to schedule. selfish two-year ranking. bump to player. ugly protest. always exaggerated appeal of self condition. etc. overrated by fanatic arrogant blind fan

Re: Incredible Ball Boy Catch - Aussie Open

I remember once I've seen one guy on stands caught tennis ball, and it was more impressive than this one. I believe it was two or three years ago, seems like some US Masters, probably Tsonga's match (but maybe not).
Does anyone remember it?

Re: Incredible Ball Boy Catch - Aussie Open

one of the sicknesses of youtube

the ballboy catch gets 15m views

so you get 1000 youtube videos of attention whores- with RE: ball boy catch

and some lame idiot who knows nothing about tennis talk about how cool that catch was

God is Love. To know Love is to know God. So ask yourself if you hold any hate for another in your heart how can you have room for Love, room for God
