Another thing I don't understand here is how people enjoy thinking that Roger is arrogant, that these quotes are "great stuff." How does one gain pleasure from another being a worse person? It's kind of sick when you think about it.

The more those fangirls hate on Roger the better they feel hopefully they'll get a life someday...

Yes Bravo Rafa. Another supposed 'injury' before going into an event/match. He never lets us down.

Nadal said after the match he nearly didn’t play because an MRI scan Saturday showed a strained buttock muscle.

Go take that whining stuff in the Fed forum where it belongs, oh bitter one. You know, that place where you can't mention other players unless it's to bitch about them.

But bitching Roger unfairly by taking quotes out of contexts is ok in your small narrow Rafa world.

Rafatards never stop to amaze me by their inconsequence.

What quotes are you whining about this time then?

Besides, this thread is about Federer, not Nadal.

Nope, but yours is.

Edit: and please don't drag Karin into this discussion.

Linda, Tangy and you could also go spread your bitterness in the Rafa forum

No thanks, we have you in there for that and you're excellent at it.

Ah yes, I have forgotten that Rafa is the perfect human being, so modest, always honest without the slightest touch of arrogance.

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

Re: Roger Federer: the Ego has Landed Again

All this crap about "this thread isn't about Rafa" is sooooo weak. You can't talk about a tennis player without bringing up his peergroup, it's moronic and one-sided to judge a person without comparing them to people in a similar position (and the position of a top-3 tennis player in the world isn't the most natural for a human being to be with all the media coverage and attention that it brings).
So, if Fed is extremely arrogant and self-loving, and Rafa disgusts quite a few people with his fake modesty, and Djokovic has his own things going on, you should really consider the possibility of all top tennis players having trouble with staying sane.

a totally irrelevant list of players I like, hate and want to have a beer with, all written in cute colors
