Re: Is Novak Djokovic suffering from vitiligo?

It looks like vitiglio in the pigmentation sense, yeah, but I agree with the poster above me... whenever I've seen people with the condition, it's never in small groups of circles like that.

But that said, I have zero knowledge of dermatologic conditions. Whatever it is, hopefully it's nothing serious.

I don't think there's any association with anabolic steroids and skin lightening. That is probably from someone confusing the effects of topical steroids used for things like psoriasis (which can lighten your skin) with the performance enhancing kind. With Sosa I thought it was pretty obvious he had a skin lightening treatment for cosmetic reasons since it happened suddenly and when he appeared that way he had also had his hair straightened.

Most skin disorders are due to too much stress. He just needs to put some tea tree and frankincense oil on it and it will fix itself quickly, I can guarantee.

I really think it's not something that we should joke about.
There is no such a thing as an "auto immune" disease, that's just non sense spread to people to keep them in fear and ignorance. Everything in/on the body happens for a reason so there is no reason to fear or over react to it. I had psoriasis which is also "autoimmune disease" for a few years before I figured out why it came out and what to do about it, and now I don't have it anymore

This is total idealistic BS. Some conditions can definitely be triggered by stress and other controllable factors but there are plenty of people for whom no amount of lifestyle changes can provide a fix. Severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis run in my family and I've seen family members try every possible approach to fix them (and avoid needing medications) with no success.

I don't think anyone's ever said that autoimmune diseases can't have environmental triggers. (Plus, I'm not even sure psoriasis IS an autoimmune condition... it's definitely immune-mediated, but I'm not sure about the labeling there.)

Re: Is Novak Djokovic suffering from vitiligo?

if we see these spots in asia, then we got a problem. I am predicting that a month after uso, we wont see these spots with the rest after dc if he even plays it. If they are still there, some reporter will probe him. I dont think anyone will ask him on monday win or lose.

Well, we know he's already had it a month, you could see them first in Montreal.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Side effects of his gluten free diet maybe?

Watch at the right of his arm, same "spots", so it's safe to say problem comes from the photographic camera.

I noticed some on his neck yesterday too, you can see them a little in the picture.
