Re: MensTennisForums's Glossary and Abbreviations

Delpo is a ballbasher

He hits as hard as he can and, as you say, hopes to draw a short ball. He has no intelligence on court, he sucks at the net and he is awful at creating angles.

Watch someone like Nadal dictate the game with his forehand. The angles are wicked and the spin is out of this world. With delpo it's just hit hard and hope other player can't cope with pace.

- Acknowledgement goes to Johnny Groove's Laws of MTF.

- This thread is supposed to make a real glossary and abbreviations list, but some light-hearted humour shouldn't hurt! (But, please, keep from ad hominem attacks directed at the players or at other posters.)

- This thread should focus mainly on MTF-specific words, but others used beyond MTF that are not very well-known or are used a bit differently on MTF are welcome.

- When the input is good enough, there should be a list, I hope.

That's it. Bring it on!
maybe you can ask a mod to remove off topic posts if it gets out of hand.

Re: MensTennisForums's Glossary and Abbreviations

Last year Mungo tried to nickname Federer - Fedull, but that one really didn't catch on.
