true on the returns, Bjorkam likes to actually take cuts at returns and not slice them back. the slow court helped him there. and also add on the fact that Roddick probably isn't playing as well as he did when he beat Jonas those 2 times in 2003. but still a good win, he should take advantage of a very weak draw/field, now that everyone is pretty much out

Jonas

I'm not that surprised, Jonas plays really well on Rebound Ace, and Roddick is rusty from the off season. Hope Jonas can make it far into the tourney!

Hi Isy - glad you enjoyed yourself. Actually I can't even remember what the weather was like here at Christmas, so guess it was no different from the usual - dark and raining You do get used to it though - honest!!

Re: Duck Hunt

It didn't rain as much in London than Paris while we're there, and that strong wind...completely blew our umbrella aparts

funny that while we're there, we just couldn't imagine how hot it is back home, now that we're back, we'd completely forgotten how cold we felt then But we had lots of fun despite the weather.

Sorry guys, disrupted your hunting session...

Bjorkman said that Roddick was making uncharacteristic errors... something like that, anyways.

Regardless... a successful kill is a successful kill!

Congrats to Jonas!

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Re: Duck Hunt

Depends on the fan, really; methinks it will be a long, long time before heya appears to offer his congratulations to Roddick's latest conqueror.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.
