Defeated Kavcic on R1, lost vs. Leo Mayer on R2 in three sets. In Buenos Aires qualies, he lost to an unknown argentinian guy, Molteni, ranked #234 in two sets. I guess he was fatigued as he finished the tournament at Thursday, and had to play qualies on Saturday. Anyway, he is on doubles w/Gilles, they drew Capdeville/Schwank on R1, they got to QF in Sao Paulo.
Allez Jim for doubles and for Acapulco!
Definitely he was more affected by the heat today than Monteni. It was an imposible day to play tennis with temperatures hitting 40 degrees and humidity was intolerable aswell.

 Nicolas Almagro (ESP) bye
Qualifier - Donald Young (USA)
Qualifier - Carlos Berlocq (ARG) Fernando Verdasco (ESP) bye
 Kevin Anderson (RSA) bye
Sam Querrey (USA) - Matthew Ebden (AUS)
Qualifier - Jeremy Chardy (FRA) Mardy Fish (USA) bye
It actually doesn't look too bad. Assuming that he can get past the qualifier, I think he has a chance against Fish, who is in horrid form this year. If he can past Fish, the seeded players in his quarter are quite playable. Good luck Jeremy.

Re: Starting Fresh for 2012 Season
Jeremy lost to the qualifier, Frank Dancevic 5-7 6-7(0). He was in trouble on serve the entire match and hit 11 DFs with a 47% first serve percentage. He was down a break in each set, fought back but lost in straights.
After this result, Jeremy is 13-7 overall this season, and 6-6 in ATP MDs. All in all, it's been a very good bounce-back season, as he's cut down on the bad losses he had suffered the past few seasons. Now as the tour heads to clay, Jeremy should shine.
His next scheduled tournament is Casablanca the week after next. Hopefully he starts his European clay court campaign with a deep run in North Africa!
