Great win

You're welcome for the photos. I am not too happy with the quality. Hopefully I can see him once at an outdoor tournament...

Re: Simone Bolelli aka Superbol

Thanks, great photos.

Sadly, he's going to lose against Cilic. If he can play at his best, he has a chance, but I doubt he will.

Re: Simone Bolelli aka Superbol

you're welcome for the photos!
In my opinion, simone can win this match, he have to believe in himself!
In the past matches vs. Cilic, he had always fought with him.
2007 Moscow r32 36 46
2007 Casablanca final 64 36 46
i would be optimist!

good prediction

Bolelli def Cilic 6-4 6-3

only 1 BP faced in the whole match in the beginning of the first set
86% of the points won on first serve and 58% on the 2nd, great stats

and very winnable QF against Rochus who doesnt have a great serve to put Bolelli's weak return in difficulty

it's his first QF in ATP level, is that right?

Re: Simone Bolelli aka Superbol

I can't believe how easy that was. Maybe now he'll finally play up to his best?

Rochus is probably the easiest quarterfinal drawcard possible. He's only just starting to find his form now, so Simone has a great chance.

When did Simone train with Roger by the way?

Re: Simone Bolelli aka Superbol

It happened at Flushing Meadows 2007, but it wasn't the first time.
They trained also at Roland Garros 2006.
Roger has always spoken very well about Simone.

I didn't know about that, thanks!

Great week so far, Pippo should take a leaf out of Simo's book.

Re: Simone Bolelli aka Superbol

fantastico

7-6 6-4, 1 break given in the first set although he needed to save many BPs in the 2nd

great chance for the final as he plays Stakhovsky

top 50 is 1 match away, dont miss it this time
