^ I've mentioned that he was playing tie-breaks in the deciding set very rarely. His record is only 7-3!

The longest tie-break in singles I've ever seen.
Lugassy won a final in France F19 (2003) against Berrer 6-7(16-18) 6-1 6-1

Karlovic played an astonishing amount of tiebreaks in the US Open in 2003 although I know none of the scores in those tiebreaks.

6 in a row (3 won over Arazi, 3 lost to Schalken) he repeated it in Australian Open '04 (3 won over Fish, 3 lost to T.Martin).

* Borg saved 6 set points in the tie-break.

It's 13 actually if you count the FO match vs Kucera.

It shouldn't be shocking because Robredo is one of the strongest mentally players on the tour. He has very good record in each "mental stats". And this year was just one tie-break to equal Roddick's record. He had won 17 tie-breaks in a row before lost to Sela at Wimbledon.
