i hope we never see another stupid complain about the slowing of the courts
go to the shooting yard and shoot bottles with a racket and a ball if you love aces so much

Many tournaments still have similar surfaces, like Miami or Toronto.

But the fastest ATP surface in 2013 would not be top 10 fastest in 1993. That has a pretty big impact on aces. Not only does it favour aces per game played, it also means more games played per match and more matches for big servers.

Some tournaments have become too slow, like the AO. But I certainly don't want lightning fast carpets back.

I think the tour should find a place for every kind of surface, distributed rather equally.

Right now, it's all just heading too much one way and has been for some time. I can't see it changing again in the foreseeable future.

Quite surprised that after this year Berdych would have ended in the top 10 for 5 different years with his awful first serve %.
