Strange score, there must be something gong on either in his head or body from R2 in San Jose against Smyzcek. He was seen rubbing his arm and also sweating profusely in San Jose, but then he didn't call a trainer. And then barely beating Bogolomov Jr. whom he beat more easily many times and losing to Hajek, whom he beat 6-1 7-6 only five days before... OK, Hajek might have employed a better strategy vs Kei, but Kei isn't someone who has no Plan B when he's playing well.
Hope this slump or what ever is just for a short spell.
