PYW discussion thread (for losers like Stebs)

A thread for general discussion of PYW. I guess that maybe I will be the only one to post in this thread.

I did not notice It happens in WTA too It is funny. We had a really tough match Harkleroad v. Sprem in the first round of Prague Though both are not Top 15

PYW is my creation so I am proud of it

You created it

I bow before you

I never knew who created. Well done, it is the best game on MTF, the only one I play. So simple.

Thank you *Blushes*

PYW was voted into the Top 3 of most popular games on WTAWorld. And there are many games there and PAW is unbeatable. So I was really happy!

We even have ITF events there now, $50K and $75K events And qualifying. It's really popular and we have 700+ players ranked

Re: PYW discussion thread (for losers like Stebs)

yeah, it's very complete and matches finish so fast (i think I only had the chance to vote once).

But there is no Fed Cup PYW like we have here with Davis Cup

PAW Results 2010/2009/2008/2007/2006/2005:
Winner: / Stuttgart / Viña, Miami, Umag / Stuttgart / Viña / Davis Cup /
Final: / / Paris TMS / Sauipe, B.Aires, Monaco, Umag / Acapulco / Paris TMS / Tokyo
SF: / / Estoril, Shangai / / / / Stuttgart, Palermo
QF: Brisbane/ Umag, USOpen / / Australia, Nottingham, Olympics, Bangkok / Australia, Sauipe / / Kitzbuhel, Beijing

PAW Rank: 14

FITD Champ: Queens 2010 / Miami, Newport & Stuttgart 2009 / Hamburg & Kitzbuhel 2008
Suicide Champ: Johannesburg 2009

We did have it But it was in the off-season and it was a different format. Instead of using real teams, we made teams ourselves and Russia was allowed to send five teams or so. Otherwise it really depends on who is selected in real life and stuff and it becomes quite a hassle.

Really? Wow!
I rarely go to WTAW. In fact, I don't think I've been there for more than 2 or 3 times (and on one of these occasions I was spying on you guys playing the weakest link. Don't know if you remember ) Anyway, thanks for bringing the game to MTF

Re: PYW discussion thread (for losers like Stebs)

Yeah, well I wasn't very familiar with the game. We had WL on tv in Romania 5 or 6 years ago but the show got cancelled shortly Besides, my English isn't very good and I probably would have embarrassed myself there if I had played

Anyway, back to PYW. Oli lost in the second round in Rome. And he lost to Roddick of all ppl. No offence to the Roddick fans but he hardly ever wins matches in PYW and now all of a sudden he takes out the world #2. I never gave Roddick a chance. Guess I was wrong

Re: PYW discussion thread (for losers like Stebs)

It's a shame. I would have liked Oli to do well and close the gap more between him and Baggy.

At RG are we going to have five sets from the start? I think we should, when there is only one tournament on and it's as big as RG many people go in the forum and I think the rounds will get done.

Hooray. Glad someone agrees. It will be tough to find anyone who will be able to beat Marat over 5 sets.

He's the next PYW world number 1. Mark my words.
