Federer on grass seems less scary than Nadal on grass.

Or maybe give him the benefit of the doubt that he trained in Germany as a kid, spent some of his formative years there, and has friends and connections there. They pay better than Queens too - and the conditions are far nicer for the players - not to mention the roof on their main Court will make the playing conditions more similar to Wimbledon, as that, too, will have a roof on Centre Court in 2009.

Then, why Djokovic chose to play Queens over Halle in 2007 and 2008?
Over two years of hiding truth about the "benefits" of playing in Halle...

Anyway, hope Novak wins his maiden appearance laurels there hands-down.

Variety is the spice of life And, for the record, those "benefits of Halle" you menton, are purely my words, not his - he has never mentioned the subject at all to my knowledge, so perhaps not fair to laugh and sneer at him for something he never intimated in any way Anyway - in my opinion - Roger is still the man to beat on grass, so choosing to play him in one of his favourite tournaments is hardly an easy option. Ah well - whatever - I'm sure this subject will be discussed many times elsewhere nearer the time - we've already talked it over in Novak's Forum a while ago Have a good day.
