Ferrero obviously deserves one more than anybody. As for the rest it's too early to say. Next weeks will say more.

Re: Wild card for Roland

The US usually has the 4 man playoff the WC spot, but they might give it to Odesnik again since he won two matches there last year.

This is maybe not the place to ask, but when is the entry list supposed to come out? Next week already or the week after?

Re: Wild card for Roland

If I had to guess....(under the assumption Ferrero is in)
Tomic
Odesnik
Gaudio
Mahut
Ouanna
Mannarino
Patience
Recouderc

I honestly dont even have a clue where his ranking is, but if he were not to get direct, he would get one instead of Gaudio or Recouderc.

Janko Tipsarevic|Marcos Baghdatis|Roger Federer|Robby Ginepri|Jesse Witten|Donald Young|Jack Sock|John Isner

Singles (Entry - 34) (Race - 30) -- W: Nice F: Bucharest, Estoril, Umag, Atlanta

Doubles (Entry - 24) (Race - 22) -- W: Auckland, Bucharest, Estoril, Beijing F: Miami, Valencia, Quimper CH SF: Nottingham, Metz, Vienna

JCF needs one more win in Casablanca to get a direct entry for RG. He'd be 109th he if loses tomorrow, which might no be enough (depends how many withdrawals and Protected entries there will be.)
For french wild card i think Mannarino (1 challenger final +20yrs old), Ouanna (1 challenger won, 23 yrs old next week) and Recouderc (24 yrs, improving recently) will get one for sure.
Patience is getting a bit old and has not won a main draw match this year so far.
Gaudio will get one if he decides to come. Hopefully he will be able to play (and win) some matches before RG.
Sidorenko (21) is getting decent results so i think he will be there too.

So my guess is Tomic, Isner ( Odesnik will have a direct entry), Mannarino, Ouanna, Gaudio, Recouderc, Sidorenko, Montcourt, Mahut, Ferrero or Eysseric or Patience or De chaunac or ERV.

Re: Wild card for Roland

Sidorenko, Mahut, Eysseric are likely to get one. Hopefully Recouderc with the season he has had so far.

On the Australian side, I can see them giving one to Klein now, just for experience sake. Luczak is of course the best Aussie player on clay, but he is old. On the US side, it's a toss-up, really.
